I'm a grad student soon to graduate. Can probably find an adjunct teaching position somewhere, but not quite enough money. Was a po awhile for six months
and did well but my living situation changed and could no longer continue. With the current economy I am aware that gay lines get about half as much calls as
female po's. I have a somewhat fem regular speaking voice but can change into masculine easy.
I want to learn how to realisticly speak like a woman. I've bought some tapes for transgender people on how to speak like a woman. They have exercises ect so I'm working on that. My question is....
What do you all think are the most useful accents to learn for po work? I am aware that the more skills, accents someone can speak the more money you make. Do different types of accents work more with woman and certian others for men? What are some other useful skills to have that one might suggest? I'm serious about getting into this again soon, and it would be the perfect combination with my current career. Writing my first novel and being able to work from home was help so much.
