Wondering if there is a need for a company that would build, host and maintain websites for NF(and similar) PSOs. Possible content inclusion in the deal.
I am not fishing for clients(yet) but trying to find out if there is a sufficient enough group of speakers Small amount of advertising too, but mostly the
building, hosting and maintaining. I know some do it themselves, but was wondering if there is a sufficient enough number out there to bother starting that as
one of my many online ventures? It would be something along the lines of a five or six page site(NF Compliant), banners for trades, and a blog complete with
link trades already set. And submission to a hosted topsites.
This may of been posted before or there may be a service already, just doing some fact finding. And if you could, tell me in a perfect world, what would a
company like that do for you?

I don't think so. I've done some design work on Niteflirt, but it's just not that busy for designers. Not that there isn't a designer or two with a lot of faithful customers, but you'll have trouble getting started and increasing your share. There aren't that many flirts there looking to buy. There are a lot of flirts who try to make money in design there, too. And many designers give away freebies as an incentive, so a lot of flirts just piece together their sites from the freebies they find. Getting started you'll have to put together so many samples that it will take a lot of sales to turn a profit. I'm sure I didn't make minimum wage on all the samples I made to sell. Right now it's slow anyway. It's when flirts are making money that they buy web design services. |
