I recently started looking into becoming a PSO because of my hours being cut at work. Last week I was completely laid off! My $67,000 Vanilla job is gone. The worst part about it is there are no jobs out there. I am more than willing to take less but there are no jobs! I'm trippin out! I have stalked Careerbuilder, Monster, Craig's list and all the rest. I did file for unemployment, unfortunately in Florida the weekly max is $275.00 , a joke!! I was wondering if I will loose my unemployment by working for a Company that gives you a 1099 at the end of the year? Will unemployment know? I was hoping that I can do work as a PSO and collect unemployment until I find something. My best friend offered her informaton to me so I could work under her name but that scares me. I don't want to be dishonest but I don't know how I'm gonna make it. Please give me your advice ladies. Thank you.
