I realize this is not a popular view, but I am of the opinion that NF actually will make more money by not bringing back bidding.
Say you spend $10 a day bidding. Now you can't, but you really want to make your LVS higher. What's a phone ho to do?
Use that money, along with time that you spent on your computer fiddling with your bids all day, to bring in new callers. Hopefully those new callers will give you nice long calls and bring up your LVS. Even if they don't, you're making money from them.
This has been my theory all along - don't waste money on NF's internal system where I'm competing directly with hundred's of flirts. Instead, I advertise on systems that are already directing the type of caller I want.
I've never bid over a dime a click since LVS has been in place - I don't need to because I am bringing in new callers, and NF rewards me with a decent LVS.
So look at it from NF's POV. Yes they are not getting the money they used to from bidding but on the other hand, they are putting on top who they think to be their best flirts, and hopefully flirts are using their resources to bring in fresh meat for them. So they won't have to spend advertising money at $1+ a click on the first page of Google.
